*~ Flashback ~*
* Since Adeline started understanding the surroundings, she knew she was marrying Christopher when she grows up. She had no objection then, since she studies in an all-girls school from nursery till primary school. All was well, until she came to a mixed secondary school. She had pleaded her parents to let her go, after having girls surround her since young. The only male friend she had was Christopher. So when she arrived at her secondary school, it is not strange that she was surprised and curious. Although Adeline was never shy in her previous schools, she was in her secondary school. Everything seemed so new to her. As she walked towards the class she's assigned to, she looked around her surroundings, eyes wide with amazement. She did not know that in a corner, a guy was watching her intently too.

*Time flies. Adeline had been in the school for a few months. Yet, she didnt have a friend. Why? Only because those who wanted to be her friend were only after her money. Afterall, not many students were escorted by 2 bodyguards and a limo to school. Around her, buzzed those who not just want to be her friend, n yearned for benefits. One particular day on a particular time at a particular place, Adeline happens to walk past a corridor with many rooms. From one of the room, a guitar could be heard playing. Being a curious child since young, Adeline crept towards the room, and slowly opened the door. A male student was playing a guitar, whilst humming Jay Chou's An Jing. As the student lifted his head to see who was the intruder, their eyes met. It was a wonderful but yet strange feeling. They feel as if they had once met, but no, they never did. Perhaps it's what they call, love at first sight. No conversation was started between them, but they simply looked at each other. It is telepathy. Bell rang and both of them were shaken back to the reality. Adeline rushed to the door but before she exited. She gave one last glance at him. She smiled. Both of them are sure that they were meant for each other.

*Since the day they met, they we going together, or as others would have said, went steady. After school either of them would bring his or her lunch to the other's table and devour it hungrily. Times were so sweet and pure that time, but Adeline knew deep in her heart that it would not last for long. When she saw Christopher, her heart was filled with guiltiness as she knew how much he cared for her. One day, Adeline decided to face the cruel reality. She decided to break up with Sylvester.

* "Hello, Sly there? It's me. I need to meet you, urgent matter. Same place same time. I'll be waiting." Adeline hung up on Sylvester. This is the longest day of my life, thought Adeline. She sat on the bench at the park where they usually meets. Suddenly, two hands covered her eyes, she knew instantly tat it was Sly. I could only be him.

* "Don't be lame, sit down here, beside me, we need to talk." Adeline said, head down.

* "What's up? You looked so gloomy. Who bullied you? I help you revenge!" Sly commented as he sat down.

* "I.....I....." Adeline stammered. She took a deep breath n said, "I want to break up."

* Sly looked shocked. " What!!! Why?!?!?! What did I do wrongly?!?!? Why do you have to say that!?!?! Was I not good enough?!?!?" He shot out all the questions, with his eyes bulging out.

* "No...It's not you....It's me....all my fault....I'm so sorry....I...I..." Adeline broke down.

Chapter 12 - I'm Sorry, Really Sorry.

[Sly's POV]
I was walking at a slow pace. I had no idea where to go. I felt like I'm lost. Lost not only because I have no idea where to go, but also lost in my heart. I should have known that Adeline won't ever be mine. Why should I give myself hope in the first place when I knew we were impossible? Oh, I don't know. Suddenly, I had a headache.

*~ FlashBack ~*
"We're impossible, Sly." Lynn sobs. "There's no future for us."
"Yes there is, Lynn! As long as we don't give up, they can't do anything to us." Sylvester answered definitely. "Please give each one of us a chance Lynn." He pleaded. Lynn said nothing but shook her head furiously. "Goodbye forever, Sly." Lynn cried as she turned around and ran away, leaving Sylvester standing rooted to the ground, hopeless.

*~ Back To Reality ~*

Argh....Who is Lynn!?!?! Why can't I remember her?!!? Why can't I just remember what she looks like?!?! Why does every girl have to leave me?!?!?!? My headache is getting worse, I can't see clearly...but...hey, is that Adeline?!?!?! Oh I think she...............

[Ade's POV]
Phew, finally convinced my housekeeper, Robert to let me have my little bit of privacy. Of course with the help of Christopher and my very convincing threats to kill myself if he do not oblige. Finally, I get to roam around the streets on my feet instead of that limo. I really wonder what's the use of it. It's just like any normal cars, it only seems longer too me. I really don't know why people have to envy me coming to school in that. Hey, didn't most of them take Mercedes to school? As I was turing around the corner, I saw Sylvester clutching his head in agony and to my surprised, he fainted. I was shocked to death, I tell you. It's not very often that I would see anyone faint. Using my common sense, I sent him to the hospital with my face as white as sheet. I don't know why am I so anxious now, pacing along the corridor. He's my classmate, of course I should care for him?!!??! But....could it mean something else?!?!?! No I can't!!!!!! I promised myself....I promised myself that I would never fall in love again! Maybe I should leave rightaway...but....Sylvester's not out yet....Oh....Fine, I'll wait till he's out and ask about his condition from the doctor, then visit him awhile and leave. Hmm...seems fair to me. Hey! The doctor's out!

* "How's he, Doctor?" Adeline anxiously asked.
"He's perfectly all right. I've checked with his doctor and heard that he had a car accident a year ago. I believe this is an effect of the accident. Whenever he tries to remember his past, he'll suffer a serious headache. Try advising him not to do so. It might harm his health."
"You mean....he lost his memory due to a car accident?" Adeline asked curiously.
"Yes, didn't you, as a friend of the patient should know?" Doctor replied before he left her alone, standing rooted to the ground.

[Ade's POV]
Memory loss a year ago? Isn't Sly also knocked down by a car a year ago? Could it be that Sly's Sylvester n Sylvester's Sly? NO!!! This is impossible.....The doctor told me Sly's dead, it can't be!!! I'm simply trying to lie to myself so that I can fall in love with Sylvester officially!!! NO!!! I CAN'T!!! I turned and ran. I don't know where I'm heading but I kept running. Running aimlessly in the streets. When I finally stopped to rest, I discover that I'm at a cemetery. And it's where Sly's buried. I have loss control of myself as my brain made me walk towards Sly's grave. I knelt down in front of it, with tears pouring out of my eyes. "I'm sorry." was all I could say to him. Memories of us together flooded my mind....bit by bit, I recalled how we met.......

PS: yoz...a chap finish liaoz...the most tragedic 1s will b written after Feb 14 so u guyz b patient kkz? Dun ask me y, cos u all will nvr noe...i haven made up my mind whether to b tragedic or not...but i think the story will b completed slowest at March lor....so sorry if ive made u guys impatient...startin to lik the story....u guyz keep supporting the story kkz?

Chapter 11 - Christopher

* It was yet another fine day. However, it was a terrible day for Adeline. She arrived school not by walking to school, like she did before but in a limo which she never did like to use as a transport. After stepping out of the limo, she caught sight of students gaping at her and the limo. They did not know that Adeline was that rich. After the exit of Adeline, out came a handsome guy who had a pair of sunglasses on. Wow! gasped those guy-crazy girls in the school. However, the guy didn't even glance at them but simply walked confidently beside Adeline. They found a quite deserted corner and spoke in low voices. Adeline seems to be very angry and upset whilst the guy was like pleading her. As they stood up to leave, Dion, Serene and Yuli scampered up and spoke as casual as they could to overcome their excitement.
"Yoz, Adeline! Aren't you introducing us to your friend?" Dion asked cheerfully. Adeline was in no mood to answer. However, the guy smiled and answered,
"Adeline's fiance, Christopher."
"WHAT!!!" Three of them gasped.
"Uh..eh...I..I'm Dion" Dion managed to stutter.
"Yu...Yuli."
"Serene." After introducing themselves, the trio quickly escaped without starting a conversation.

[Ade's POV]
What luck. How could I forget that Christopher was coming today? If not, I would have banged myself on the wall and stay unconscious in the hospital. There's only a reason why Christopher came all the way from France. To discuss our marriage in the far away future. To think my parents still remembered it when they were so busy with their so-called big businesses in France and England. I didn't speak a word all the way from the airport to the school. He should count himself lucky for not earning a punch from me. I had to wake up at 5 am. 5 AM YOU KNOW!!! It's all that housekeeper, Maria's fault. She insist on me wearing a so-called sophiscated attire before letting me leave the house. This is sooooo unfair.... and how can our parents be so impatient for us to get married?!?!? Perhaps I know why. They were afraid that the history would repeat itself. I would meet another guy and falls in love with him. They'd already murdered Sly, do they think that I'd let another guy die because of me? I insisted on delaying the date of our marriage but our parents insists that it should be held the earlier the better. I know it isn't Christopher's fault but I can't help throwing my temper at him, could I? Others might be hoping all their lives to marry a handsome, rich and kind guy like Christopher, but definitely not me. Perhaps, it's because I still can't forget Sly, and could not help thinking about how Sly used to call me by my nickname.

[Sly's POV]
I heard that Adeline arrived school in a limo and with a guy who introduced himself as Adeline's fiance. I could vaguely hear my heart break. Hey Sylvester Sim!!! What are you thinking? Adeline was never yours and furthermore, you should be happy that Adeline has finally found her true love!!! But....Adeline don't look happy...She looks as if she's forced to marry that guy...I left the school in low spirits. I don't know why, but I don't like the idea that Adeline's marrying at such a young age. I just hope that this does not affect our performance during the Talentime Competition.

PS: had a heacdache but continued with it...haiz....i dun hav much inspirations liaoz...so u guyz wait a while more kkz?
